This book is darker than I thought. The author does a good job at making the mother a character people would not like while reading this book.

The book is very good. The author does a great job at making characters the reader does not like. It is what makes the story go onward well. You have characters you like and characters you REALLY don’t like. Like Ross in “Friends”, or Rachel Berry in “Glee.”

The way the writer wrote about Rose’s thoughts and actions are very similar to the television show and it makes me picture the book very well!

I love the show, “The Golden Girls,” and the banter is very similar to the show which, makes me very happy. Very fun!

The book is strong and powerful. There are people that affect you sometimes before you are born or questions you have that you may never know the answer to, in this case, Eddie learns the answers to some of his questions after his death.

The main character Eddie, has a lot of wounds, mentally, emotionally, and physically, from people he trusted, who kept their promise in a way not desired by anyone, and by someone who socially is to have unconditional love for Eddie. These lessons are powerful yet very sad.

I do really like this book. Although it is quite sad. Each person teaches the main character a lesson. The first person said that strangers are family yet to come to meet, and that no life is a waste.

So far, really good. The first part of it is sad, but that is a given since the author states that it begins with a death.

I am trying to get into the habit of reading…wish me luck! ☆
