😂 that one time when kenan was apologizing profusely and he was blubbering so much and she asked him to stop talking. Aghh cutee

I also appreciate the author’s love for studio ghibli bcz I also enjoy that genre of anime, very calm and serene storytelling that just keeps you in a trance for hours on end

First things first I like how she brought her fear to life,gave it a personality, idk how to put it but this is unique and also my first time seeing a writer use this technique, I also shippppp Salama with kenan but I can’t shake the feeling of something bad abt to happen, from the chapters I’ve read I sympathize even more with war torn countries 🫂

Ok so the last chapters were so fast paced my neck almost got snapped by the twist. Such a bittersweet ending.well, polly’s mom didn’t lie when she said she had Gunfighter eyes. Easily a 5 star read

Ok so my tears have successfully irrigated all the crops in the world lol. I’m so proud of Beyah for putting herself first even tho she wanted otherwise am also happy her dad admitted his mistake and they reconciled, also proud how she’s decided to let go all of her anger and go on to build her future. I’m not happy that Samson lied but circumstances lead to that.

Ok so I’ve found out a new info about Samson not being the Samson we thought and how beyah is heartbroken but still likes him as he’s the first person that made her feel like she matters after everything she been through. “I’d rather fall for a guy who has a shady past and treats me well as Samson does than fall for a guy who treats me like shit while looking good to the rest of the world” aw baby 😭🫂

Tbh this book has me confused yet interested I’ll defo give it a re-read but so far so ok I’d say, the fact the kid scares her dad who did time is funny lmaooo. I just hope all goes well but we’ll see

I’m loving it (hooked on it) but I don’t like how secretive Samson is being, it’s almost dangerous and poor hg is attracted to the mystery, I accidentally turned two pages and saw a spoiler 😭 but so far m liking it, it’s giving the same vibes as beach read by Emily
