I’m gonna cry Eleanor and Theodore are so cute together :((

Theodore’s introduction is a whirlwind. Her, Eleanor, and Mrs. Dudley are all talking, but none of them are conversing. It’s so intresting to read. They all have things to say but none of it connects so it’s absurdly disconnected and kind of hard to follow.
It’s such an interesting way to display how everyone there is so focused on themselves.

It’s so beautifully written already. It’s also so interesting how fragile Eleanor already is. She’s barely settled into the blue room and she’s already freaking out over the house.

“Eurymachus, some of Polybus, replied, ‘old man be off! Go home and spout your portents to your children… but I can read these omens better than you can. Many birds go flying in sunlight, and not all are meaningful.’” Gen giggled at that, god himself sent you a fuck off sign and you replied that could mean anything 💀💀

Finally got through the preamble, woof it was a beast but I’m excited to start the main story :D

I have six more hours of the audio book and the only reason I’m still going is bc I’m so so close and I’m not a quitter
