Discomfort

Patroclus's attachment to Achilles is painfully unhealthy.

Patroclus has no spine and achilles is equally frustrating. Plot very fast now. Struggling to connect with the characters though.

Still deeply uncomfortable with and disturbed by the rape mentions. But i suppose i never want to become accustomed to that. Aside from that, it's quite interesting.

It's getting gay

So he killed someone yeah yeah, whatever. Really, I'm too sensitive to read references of rape tossed out so casually like i don't curdle into myself, desiring to scrape my skin from my body to rod myself of the horror that humanity contains, the parts so cruel and heinous. The utter selfish violence of humans makes me feel like throwing up on a regular basis.

Apparently everyone's baffled that helen didn't choose the 10 year old to be her suitor.
