wait guys this is genuinely really good

honestly trying to make use of my kindle unlimited subscription and finish as many books as i can before my birthday where i’ll get more physical books lol. anyways, starting this! it’s not something i’ve heard of, but it sounds interesting and there’s trigger warnings which is always a good sign, so yay. michael jackson is playing in the background, which probably isn’t the best choice for a mystery but who cares.

tempted to dnf this one 😭 it feels very centred around paige and dylan instead of the mystery, and it’s second chance romance which i’m not a huge fan of 😕 i’ll keep going with it for now but we’ll see.

maren i hate you. remington i moderately hate you. polly i feel let down by you. annabelle i like you. gavin i love you and i’ll miss you when this book ends.

i have to say, i’ve got through this book very quickly, but i don’t know whether that’s because I can’t get enough or whether I want it to
be over. seriously, what is happening? this is a story about cults and murder, and maren or whatever she’s called is talking about ‘pizza powers’ and ‘bros’. what? 😭

how are these high schoolers okay with doing any of this? and where did gianna come from 😭

i haven’t been reading this very much 😭 i’m enjoying it but don’t have any desire to pick it up. i like the short chapters and the pace of the plot, but it’s just not… gripping me ig? 😭

i need something short after finishing binding 13. i loved that book, but it was a beast 😭
