its so crazy how you go from lizzie‘s incredible sad to hughie’s happy childhood chapters. It is also alarming that Hughie’s mother and Lizzie’s father are the complete opposites. And it‘s literally so scary to even read the name mark

this is so sad, heartbreaking, and it all feels so wrong. you can literally see how lizzie became the person she is, because she’s always been that way. but at the same time, you also see how the things her family says and does (whether intentionally hurtful or not) shape the way she sees herself and how she thinks, both in the moment and the future (she‘s 4 rn btw and it‘s alr so heartbreaking)

I‘m so scared of this story and this experience 😭 i already know this will leave me as a depressed, uncontrollably sobbing wreck. I’m genuinely not ready for this but I know otherwise I‘d put it off until winter comes around again and the vibe‘d be too gray to read this. wish me luck 🫡

I‘m so, so excited for this!! I‘ve literally only ever heard great things about this series and the first twenty-four pages were so entertaining!! It has looong chapters (these 24 pages were one chapter) but it has been fine considering that it was fun 🤭
