This book is putting me through the ringer and if I survive after this, I might just go kiss a bunch of girls to remind myself I no longer live in a place where I have to deal with the discrimination and hatred of an entire town just for loving who I want to love.

So far amazing! It's making me wish I could truly relive prom. I never got to properly experience it because I lived in Woodstock Georgia which is not the most queer-friendly place; but even if it was, my senior prom was when COVID hit, so I didn't even get to go anyways.

So far having a good time with this book! It's very interesting to hear some of Sappho's poetry and songs and how they embraced womanly love in a time when that wasn't as normal in society as it is today.
