Already some of the best prose I’ve ever read. Every word choice is absolutely perfect. The characters and their flaws seem so real and so viscerally human. Incredibly engaging read, can see why he consider it his magnum opus. Biblical allusion is heavy. Excited to read more of the story of brothers “Charles” and “Adam”

The ultimate yearner. Persian poetry, Rumi specifically, has such a pleasant way of describing love. It understands the aches and pains that make it what it is. Need to check out more of his work.

Haunting. Incredible. Some of the best poetry I’ve ever read. The way he writes is heaven sent, with incredible ability to relate to the depths of your soul. Don’t want to put it down but don’t want it to end.
