eh? i’m really hoping this is just a slow start to the book bc it’s not like. super interesting so far. the writing style keeps throwing me off and it’s like the author is trying to be heavy-handed while also keeping up the mystery and it’s just an odd way to tell a story so far.

intrigued… some of the plot lines and decisions don’t make sense to me, but also it’s a short book and seems like a lot has to be crammed into it. so far not a bad or hard to follow read.

it’s decent so far. i’m trying to continue reading to know what’s going on but it hasn’t taken hold of me just yet. very slow start for sure imo

really interesting so far. i’m intrigued by Agnes and Ruth both, and also Roos. glad she’s out from under Mama tho thank GOD

THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I’VE HAD TO PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. it’s so so good and so disturbing. had to put it down at the reveal, i simply cannot.

so disturbing and so good. i hope michael dies at some point. 6 star read if he does.

really intrigued by the plot (no idea where it’s going) and the world building. very queernormative which i adore.

i love the world building so far and the interesting use of magic.

i love it so far!! the pov was a little odd at first but the author does a wonderful job of making everything flow so well together.

DNF’ing. can’t stand the random pov changes in the middle of scenes. disappointed tho because the world is interesting and unique but there are certain quirks i just can’t overlook.

meh. the story is kind of intriguing but idk if it’s worth it to keep reading for the other issues. the world is really cool but the writing style is throwing me off and elo annoys me so bad. i just don’t think he’s written very well in this book.

ehhhh. it’s not terrible but the writing style is irking me. i wish some scenes were longer as they might explain things a little more or perhaps better. elo’s chapters annoy me. story is interesting by slow-moving.

really good!! i love kissen and skedi is interesting. can’t wait to see where it goes.

good so far! a little confusing but also i think i’m just stupid. loving the world the author is building.
