It is insane how evocative yet concise the prose is. I have to stop reading mid page every so often just to let it sink in.

Really love how distinct the narrative styles are for the three protagonists. The oldest protag especially. Her effort to contain her emotions is reflected in a sometimes comical sometimes haunting nonchalance narration.
