In comparison to Book 1, it feels like this book is all about conflict. From the typical beef between Deputy and Warrior, strife in Bluestar's lives, or two best friends, theres barely any peaceful moments in this book. Maybe I am complaining to complain

I'm enjoying the book. The relationships are interesting to watch

Ok I change my mind, I kind of like Steve West's work. I have difficulty understanding him at times, but otherwise his voice acting is good.

I hate that each addition to the Unwanteds has a different audiobook narrator.

In book 2, Simber rolls his R's, no explanation for that.

In this book the main characters have a more posh british accent than the last, and every woman is vaguely european. The hell is a woman named Ms Morning going around sounding French for? Stupid. I do not like your work Steve West. Horrendous work.

This writing is beautiful. If my brain wasn't fried by ADHD and instagram reels, I'd read this instead of listening to it.

Gotta say the parallels to the real world are pretty funny though, I liked British Greenwilds for British Isles

About halfway through, I'm still waiting to get to the meat of the story. Feels like I've been forcing myself to get through this book because of its 4.5/5 rating and because I waited quite a while to get this from the library. I do enjoy it, but I'm unsure of why I should care about this book.

Loving it, been wanting to learn more about Nico because of his appearances in the other Percy Jackson universe's books.
Not happy about the narrator in the audiobook, he pronounces everything wrong.

Automaton -> Auto-may-ton
and more terrible mispronunciations with the perfect amount of clickbait youtuber vocal fry!!

I like Jesse Bernstein's work, but his voice for Blackjack is grating. Sure I get that Blackjack's a pegasus and Jesse's trying his best to make a fun voice for what's essentially a horse, but I can't stand it. Sorry Blackjack

I don't like how the story flows and I'm not a fan of the characters. I liked the car chase scene, even if it lasts 6 hours just like every single other scene in this book. I expected better after reading Megan Lally's "That's not my Name"
