Very cool introduction to this dystopian world. Lots of questions. The night chapter is a bit confusing.

Chapter 1

What a start, even though most of the start I had already read up to when George was about to leave the house, the chapter is quite self contained and goes straight into the action and character development.

A decent few chapters, mainly interested in where the rest of the book is going.
It’s funny how much Dexter hates Doakes.

I do like the plot so far, the book is an easy read and the Dexter narration is quite is
Entertaining and humorous, like the first book but this might have more comedy lines. Anyway looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Pg 107- this is getting better, the new Sargent is interesting. I like the disguise Dexter plot aswell. Not sure how it will compair to the first book at the minute but it’s a good follow up so far.

I think i read up to the second chapter on like on day then stopped for some reason.

But I’ve just started again from the start, so far it’s written well enough to hook you back into the Dexter series, it’s not to difficult to read the second after having read the first a while ago now. I’m more interested to where the Sargent and Dexter thing goes than the investigation Dexter is doing from the start.

Pg132 - the end. It was one of the better chapters of the book , perhaps the best. A good ending.

Chapter 6 is kinda meh

After chapter 2 I think it’s getting into a 3 star type territory, great suspense in chapter 4, at least in how how it’s built and written.

Pretty well written and interesting so far. I would probably reread the start if I was to buy this though as I did get a bit lost with characters.

Pg 65. Pretty good nothing to say really. I like the partnership between mr marvel and the stranger.
