Finished Part I, there’s a big time skip, I like that it’s a good stopping point but it was a mid book cliffhanger. I really wanna read more soon.

The girls are fightingggg. Really great ramp up into the action of the book. Interested to see where she ends up 👀

Off to a great start! I started reading this book with the chapter guide as there’s lots of allusion and historical references that I’m not enough of a history buff to understand. Made the reading experience easier. Gene Wolfe is well read author and put in work for the Latro series

Clean writing, lowk feels like it was an SCP entry first and a novel second. Feels like it’s gon be a quick read 😋
