I loathe everyone in this book except the heroine but it's so well-written. Also, hero is literally fit for Bedlam as he's now having his flunkies whip him to death. I still loathe him so I am all for it, since antipsychotics did not exist in the 18th century.

I am truly hoping the "hero" of this gets horribly tortured at some point because all I feel is pure loathing for him. But the book is addictive and I don't think the author likes him more than I do.

This is so delightful! Why have I never heard if this author before?

The heroine irritates me (and I feel bad about the fact that the hero will clearly end up with her), but the rest of the book is so charming, I don't even truly mind.

This is good so far! Always had a weakness for Minoan civilization. It's gonna be short and sweet, perfect summer read, I can tell.

Just starting. I am Team Brennan (love me my problematic faves) which makes me super nervous because I am 98% sure he won't get the girl and grrrrr...but we will see.

Still like it (and really do love the Wolf Duke) but hero and heroine haven't even met yet, which is odd in a book that's (as far as I know) not first in a series. Also, her storyline is much less interesting than his.

I have zero clue of what is going on but I am enjoying it. Verrrry slow though.

Surprisingly entertaining for a book with so little fanfare. But then I am a sucker for arranged marriage to lovers trope.

Loving it, though while I find Kaz intriguing, I do not care for him in the least - he's a magnetic monster, but a monster all the same.

Also, due to constant snow and cold, perhaps not the best book to read in winter.

This is amazing so far! And OMG younger Dalinar was terrifying

Poor Cyrene! I don't particularly love her, but I can't remember the last time a heroine had such horrible romantic choices - all three of them are awful in their own way. I hope she ditches all the ones that remain alive and enjoy her life by herself.
