Ae and Lys are holding the line but failing with every day that passes, Y and Ch lead an army to his home to protect them against Morath, they brought the ruks and Y told off his father, and she thinks she is prego!! R is coming for Ael but she doesn’t know so she is trying to get Cairn to kill her, and it’s working but while Cairn is going after her, Fen is being forced to watch and he broke the blood oath!

Ael is still captured and her and Fen had to watch his brother die, but she keeps going for R who she sent a signal to, they know where she is now, her mom spoke to her, E is pissed at L but he is trying to be better, same with Lys and Ae they are holding the line, and Da is a dick but Nox works for him and remembers Ael. M and D have found the Crochans and are trying to get them to fight and D knows to go to Morath

This book is so confusing and enlightening at the same time!

That was crazy!! Y and Ch realized the Valg took her boss, and it was Duva! They saved her but Ch took another hit to the back for Y and in order to save him her and all the healers joined together to save him, and the price is when Y magic wavers so will Ch legs! Sar and Nes also came to help with their ruks, Sar was named heir, him and Nes are going to rule together, and the Kaghan gave the army for Duva life!

That was insane, Maeve took Ael in exchange for E freedom after L sold her out to save E, E is pissed and no speaking to L and Ael was captured and whipped by Maeve, R is married to her!!!! All her allies came to find her and Lys is pretending to be her for now, as had been there plan, and Ae is pissed about not being told his part in it, R will go find his wife, D goes with the witches, and the rest go to war!

Nes and Sar made it back and they have not left each others sides since, Nes told Fal about his niece Lys and he is coming with them back to Ereilea and she told all the legions of rule the truth and let them decide whether they wanted to come fight just as she got a message from Ch that they needed to return immediately!

The battle started and R did it! He got all of his cousins to turn on her, everyone was chanting his name that turned the tide of the battle for sure, even L couldn’t believe it, but Maeve pulled G and Fen to her just then and G warned L of Maeve heading for E on the shore, L put someone in charge and raced for E as soon as she herself realized what her god had kept warning her about!

Ch hurt himself bc he was mad at himself and Y found him on the floor and tried out what she had figured out, they went thru all his self hate and the promises he made to Ael and D and how he felt about him and Ael and Nes, and he decided he was not giving up and he would fight to come home and bring Y with him, it worked, him and Y spent the night together, and they said I love you to each other!

M and Ael are in the mirror and they are watching memories go by, the eye of Elena was supposed to seal the three keys and the gods away with Er but Elena didn’t know and seal just Er away and the gods told her that her bloodline would have to pay to reforge the lock to do what needs to be done, then the next memory was Neh finding the mirror and being told the same and how she must guide Ael and D!

Y and Ch raced back and found his and Nes room trashed, they only didn’t take one scroll, and while Ch was planning on staying with Y he shoved her out like an idiot because he felt bad about not officially breaking up with Nes, she was mad at him for it and went to have her boss look at the scroll, she didn’t rly help just said she might have some other books for her, and Y found her ancestors name in the Torre

D figured out the riddle and sent Ael and M into the mirror to find out how to use the keys without consequences, the mirror is knowledge! R and Ae were pissed but they couldn’t think about it and had to prepare for battle, Fen told R that they came to his aid before and were whipped for it and L told them not to tell him, so they would all three fight for him again, L only if E was safe on shore!

Nes made the spider tell her the tale of Maeve, she convinced the fae that she had always been there including her sisters when actually she had married the oldest Valg king got bored and just moved to Ereilea, the first war was started to find her, and the oldest brother made the keys, and Ael has no idea or her ancestors, Nes and Sar escaped, Fal admitted he is Lys uncle! Borte and the ruks saved them!

Ask is sending Ansel to find more allies, as many as possible and send them north, then Maeve’s fleet stops them, and gives her a day to surrender, M and D had sex and M is rly thinking about all it mean for her cuz it’s different with him for sure, and D has rly changed he is much more direct and brutal than before, R went to visit each of his cousins to try and get them the change sides before morning!

Ch and Y found Fae used to live in Scontinent and they gonna bring the scrolls to the head healer to find what she knows, Hasar insulted Ch so Y shoved her in the pool, after Ch had defended her all night, luckily Hasar took it as a joke, Ch and Y finally got with each other! After he gave a locket to keep Ael note in! Sar and Nes are captured by the spiders, Sar admitted he loves her and Maeve is the Valg Queen!

E saved L from G and F attack and he freaked out, R stopped the fighting all together a G healed her and they both came with Ael under her protection, L is certainly fighting against it the whole way tho, M was happy to see E again but her and Ael were not so happy about L but they will get over it! Also Ansel came and Ael didn’t tell anyone she was coming, and Ae and Lys had a talk, accepting one another!

Y and Ch are on the way to her party in the desert and they are still keeping their distance around others. Ch had to figure out how to resaddle his horse without help but he did it and he challenged Y to a race for kiss when and where of his choosing, and I think he won!

Ael and her people faced the army, and she incinerated 500 ilken with R, D and the others help, and Lor and E saw the whole thing, he is still planning to steal the keys from her so him and E are going to say hi, but he didn’t notice Fen and Gal going after him either, it’s insane! Also R and Ael had a romantic moment and D explained to M why he likes her and why he should not have the keys, cuz they killed S!

Sar and Nes are going to the spiders home to find the hatchlings, they only brought the shifter with them and Nes asked Sar why he wasn’t married and he told her the girls were afraid of his ruk! She also asked if the killing of siblings would ever end, and he said maybe, they saw a hatchling and tried to save it but it was a trap by the spiders, they almost died but the ruk got out and they are running.

Ael and all her people are in the marshes now and a day away from the lock, M told them the story of the Corchan curse on them, and how she seeks to break it by her bloodline! D saved her from a monster and R is playing matchmaker! R talked to Fen and Gal about Maeve and her plan and that they are glad to be part of this but still have to do what they don’t want to.

Ch is walking! And he did it to kiss Y! She made him argue and think he hurt her to get him to walk! She also planned her birthday at the secret oasis they need to get to! They have been sneaking around with each other but they got caught once and it scared Y into keeping her distance while he is still her patient but you can tell he loves her and I think she is close to saying F it!

E and L have made it to the marshes looking for Ael they have been there for four days dealing with the monsters, and E kissed him! And he liked it, she offered him a place with her whenever he wants, he still wants the two wyrdkeys for Maeve tho, but I think he will change his mind and just when they were getting into it with each other, an army of ilken are seen on the horizon!

Ch can feel all the way up to his knees, two of the heirs cornered them with info about Ael burning the villages and that Nes is staying for 3 weeks more, but he handled it and Ka came to tell him it was mostly bluff and that he wanted to fight in this war and of Ael ordering firelances, Nes and Sar investigated the last tower and ran into other riders who are betrothed to Bo! Sar said Nes should ride a lonely Ruk!

M is free and walking around because of D and Ael has figured something YL told her a while back about Maeve’s price but won’t tell R and he was worried she was prego! Ellewe is burning and someone is blaming Ael when she is putting out the fires, Ae and his dad are sorta bonding! Fen was impersonated and saved from poison by Ael and L and E are finally getting along after taking down ilken together!

L and E made it with their trope to a city where some ilken attacked and L defeated them and they both seem to be feeling each other a bit, until the guards came after them and they had to steal a boat after figuring out Ael is in the south not the north so instead of going north, E is now going with L south, especially now that L figured out the necklace was a fake and wants to kill Ael, also he knows Es name!

Battle at skulls bay, Deanna took over Ael and almost killed everyone but Ael shoved her out and took out most of the Valg and Lys in her sea dragon form took out the rest with the help of Ae and D, Ae told her he was going to marry her and Ael felt crushed and nearly cursed R for getting in her way but they made up and finally came together on the beach! Mala is Ael relative, and M crashed onto their ship!

Sar and Nes went to the tower and found one of the spiders there it almost killed them they also found and took some fae blades and the merchant from AB came and saved them as a wolf because he is a shifter! Sar doesn’t trust him one bit and Nes saved him from his wound and told Borte everything about what they were doing and Sar is mad at her about the whole thing, it’s tense but they go to the other towers next

Ae met his dad and told him off for all the pain he caused him and his mother even tho Gal didn’t rly know, he was hurt and just wanted to say something but Ae walked about before he could and was comforted by Lys, and Ael was made aware now that the north is totally sealed off by the Valg and are prepped to attack Elleywe!

Ch and Y went out to dinner and had such a good time he rly likes her like so much more than anyone before and her him, and also they are thinking about going to a private sanctuary for the royals by manipulating Hasar because they may be something there that explains where all the knowledge from those books about Valg came from!

Ael and R talked to Gal and Fen about Maeve and what she plans to do, they didn’t know much but that they might have to face her if she allied with the wrong side, and that Rolfe is going to get weapons that shoot fire like her in a bit from the south so those could useful if he would ally with them and then her and R had a cute moment on the roof where he said he had been in love with her for a while!

Sar and Nes are now in the rukhin nest and have talked to the hearth-mother who told them mostly stuff they did know but also that the Valg came to the world thru a gate in those mountains and then went north, the spiders from AB are Valg as well and have sisters in the mountains, they are going to check the Fae towers from long ago! Sar is also flirting with her! And the merchant from AB has returned!
