Beautiful writing, messed up characters in 1960s. Lots of interior work.

The novel evolves from a study of individual temporal disruption into a collective system operating within a fixed day. As the group expands, repetition becomes social, identity diffuses, and memory is shared but unstable. Attempts at control through structure fail, and stability emerges instead through labour and material engagement. The system then undergoes a further shift: matter begins to respond.
