The plot is lowkey boring me, as it's not at all what I expected. The book started off so strong and then went steeply downhill and ever since I've been feeling that the author didn't really have much of an idea how to actually proceed. And I really don't care much about the artsy female main character trope. But I refuse to give up, so I'll force myself through it. Maybe there'll be a pleasant surprise.
