So many thoughts. Idk if this is an unrequited love, will they won’t they, or the story of a very questionable friendship. It’s barely about the romance and I find myself far more interested in the dynamics with her heavily controlling and expectant parents, her medical school journey and research, and why her bestie is being so awful to her! Give my girl Angie a break! And Ricky, decide how you feel!

Okay we’ve got some info and this is starting to diverge a lot from what I’ve seen before! Unfortunately I went to see if book two was out yet and saw a spoiler 😭 but I’m going to pretend I didn’t see that! 🫣

Not done yet today but I’m torn between loving the incredibly unique elements of this book and the pieces that feel pulled almost directly from Twilight including the name MiraBELLA and nickname Bells, “where the hell you been?” seemingly quoted, the sheriff dad, etc. that makes me stop in my tracks. However, there are also elements like the lore, mystery, and suspense that feel so unique and new! Idk 😭

So far I just need to know more! It’s familiar to so many things I’ve seen before in Twilight, the Vampire Diaries, and others and at some points it felt almost based on storylines from them but it also brings something unique and new like seeing these stories through the eyes of a Black girl and the storyline with her mom. I’m enjoying it so far but want the mystery solved!

I have finally broken the spell that is being unable to stop reading this! It’s so good so far but I seriously have to go to sleep now otherwise I’d be reading this cover to cover in one sitting!

Is it already late? Yes. Will I be finishing this book tonight? Also yes

World’s Worst Husband Challenge, Ready Go! Three Way Tie!

I think that this may just be the pace of the novel. It’s a bit slow for me but definitely interesting.

Okay so far so good but a little slow. I will need some real action soon like isn’t there meant to be a murder? 🥲

Okay but this is book three. Why are we still recapping everything that has happened so far 😭 I think eventually this same style will get tiring but I’m still enjoying it now

This is finally what I expected when I started the series. Starting to see why so many people love it

Okay I’m still undecided. It definitely is giving no hints as to how it will end. I think that this is really showing a struggle between detaching from an idealized reality for something real and great but you have to be willing to take nuances and challenges that come with real life.

I’m undecided on it so far. I really like that it is more interested in exploring who people are, how they grow, and their mistakes and flaws than telling a perfect love story. It is throwing me a bit how modern the writing is and although it was a change at first, it’s really staring to grow on me.

I’m loving that they are emphasizing that Feyre is and has always been a fighter. It was getting on my nerves that they kept making it seem like she needed to be protected when she’s more than shown she can hold her own! I’m also loving the change of scenery 😌

I’m really glad I continued to the next book in the series. I wasn’t a fan of ACOTAR but I am liking ACOMAF 2 way more so far
