I am really struggling not to dnf this one.

The representations of mania/schizophrenia etc are poor.

Again everyone in this place is gonna have chlamydia and I’m still not sure how there hasn’t been an accidental pregnancy yet.

Also I’m incredibly confused about… everything.

Nope this is a hard dnf and usually I push through everything. They’re all so STUPID. Not a single redeemable character and that level of smut is dumb and will definitely give that poor girl some kind of damage. Ugh.

I love these books. I love the heroine. I love that she’s in her 40s. I love that she’s a badass. I love the setting. I love everything. I hope theirs a third book because this series has my heart and I need more Gus and Julie (and Evan).
