Not liking this very much. Expected something different. Concept was intriguing but it didn’t get there.

This takes place in the 1950’s in Londons east end, a poverty stricken area where women keep having babies.

This is a good one. After the war a group of really smart folks are in Washington DC working on breaking Russian codes. They find out the Russians had information about the US development of the atomic bomb.

I thought I’d try a mystery/thriller. This one was pretty convoluted - Brady the narrator missing his wife all the way thru then we discover he actually tried to kill his wife. Totally mislead til the end.

Clever ending. This is the second book I read by Lily Graham. And I liked it!

So Valerie’s father was a Nazi doctor. Is that the Paris zsecret?

A little hard to understand with the heavy British and French accents.

It’s slow going…….

I just realized I read this 10 years ago. Sheesh! Well I can’t recall it so reading it again.

This was free on Amazon first reads.

This is not my usual type of book. What an imagination this author has. A girl created by writing and she bleeds ink and heals right up.

Interesting story about Nan and Colin and son, Desmond and Father Tom.

Another book about Jesus. Nice.

Reading this borrowed from Libby. Always wanted to read it - one of my favorite movies. In this case the movie was 10 times better than the actual story. I don’t know who wrote the movie script but they took Capotes story to a level way beyond his writing. Was it Audrey and George Pepperd? I don’t think so. Brilliant adaptation of a story

Had to buy from Amazon the audible and ebook for book club.

She writes differently. Hard to get into the characters at first - gives a little, then drops it. Picks it up later.

She’s a good writer but this one not my jam. Too much art, as if we’re all art coverts, British bands, don’t know hem, etc.
