this is such a strange reading experience like i’ve spent ages reading a 170 page book
everytime im reading it it’s fine and even interesting but once i put it down, i have 0 desire to start reading it again😵‍💫

mr knowles is a demon

i fear it’s going where i don’t really want it to go and away from where i was enjoying it being.

will never get over how creatively written these books are

men are stupid and if they would just listen to their wives

so so so good
and so so so well written
i’m learning so much about nigeria’s history and seeing more of its past culture through these characters an those are my favourite type of fiction books

literary novels are chasing me
im running faster

i fear a lot of Grace’s problems are self inflicted?
understandably i get it but cmon😭
u couldn’t mention anything to ur husband … nothing … not even a slight hint (hey, i had a kid when i was 15) or even rather than saying ur parents are dead … how about i dont speak to them, we are estranged?
