holden is kind of an asshole & rude but you can tell it’s because of his age. but i also think he’s kind of mature for his age as well. he complains too. i can tell the he hates being alone & he really wants a friend. a GOOD friend, like jane gallagher. he speaks very fond of people that he cares about but anyone else he’s down talking them.

holden is a person who really cares about people & the stuff that goes on around him, but in his own way. especially when it comes to how people treat each other. he calls people out on their crap even though it can be hypocritical at times. but i feel like he knows about his actions & his words towards people. anyways he decided to leave pencey early & take a nice little vacation. his story really begins now.

in these next two chapters, we get to meet ackley & stradlater. two guys who are basically the same person but carry themselves differently. with this description you can see how holden interacts with them both. as i’m reading i’m starting to understand holden a little more as the main character. he’s very relatable when it comes to is emotions & personality. also with how interacts with certain things & people

Holden seems like a person who take doesn’t touch much bs from people. He likes to live realistically but also keep a connection to his childhood. In these first two chapters i’m getting a sense of his personality & i can kind of relate to him in a way.

i knew someone had to be framing violet because her being the murderer was too obvious. but think it was a dumb move for her to run away like seriously it makes her look more guilty. sebastian coming out with the truth that alfred was never his godson & his whole “identity” was a joke wasn’t what i was expecting but it’s good reading. i’m glad we’re finding out some real details about him now.

with the way everything is going violet does seem suspicious, but i feel like that’s too obvious. i honestly feel like either lady p, sebastian, or gwen did it. but the is a new suspect which is muriel the governess. the fact that alfred was blackmailing people wasn’t surprising. from the beginning seemed like her didn’t come from much. which is why he was trying to marry violet & always hung with sebastian.

it started off a little slow but it’s started to get really good. i knew there was going to be trouble as soon as olive agreed to go to that party. i have 4 suspects on who killed alfred. Sebastian, lady pamela, gwen, & maybe thea. violet being the killer is way too obvious but you never know with books. the obvious choice usually is the answer. i also think jane the maid as something to do with his death as well.

i kinda feel bad for april cause she seems like a really nice lady, but i know how freida can be with her writing so im not going to make assumptions. julie is definitely a horrible friend to april,PERIOD. also i know maria has something to do with everything going on with april. elliot having an affair with is receptionist was obvious unfortunately. but getting her pregnant wasn’t & now she’s dead.

the book is finally getting interesting & i’m damn near done. idk why it took this long. i feel like everyone is lying about something, even grace. i think calvin & joe might be murders & Charlotte is their accomplice. grace might be a lil crazy too idk we’ll have too see. also calvin got someone in that basement FOR SURE

this book is really giving high school sitcom, but i love it. they finally admitted they like each other for real(in their own weird twisted way). i love how adaline only opens up with juliette even though that’s someone she’s hated for years. it’s definitely giving 2000s sitcom. i wonder how juliette is going to come out to her mom though.

this book goes really into detail. i feel like a fly on the wall as i read it. juliette & adeline are some freaks & I LOVE IT!!!! they can’t even say the hate each other atp because the way they talk about each other, talk to each other, or even feel about each other is not hate. i know juliette’s mom gone be shitting bricks when she finds out.

THEY FINALLY KISSEDDDD!!!! I’ve been waiting so long for this man because it’s so freaking obvious they like each other. I mean Juliette literally broke someone’s hand Adaline & Adaline punched some guy in the face for her. Plus they’ve been bickering for 5 YEARS. Can’t wait to see what happens now. I’m so invested.

honestly adaline & juliette just needs to get over themselves & be together. Or at least have sex because this “hatred” they have towards each other is literally them just them being super infatuated with each other. But I love a good build up.

Honestly I think Maria is a lying, sneaky bitch I don’t care what nobody says. She was WAY too nice in my opinion. 😤 It was giving fake. I also feel like Elliot might be cheating on April. Cause why are you always at work?!?! 🤨 Also Bobby needs a belt to his ass for all that back talk he be doing. Anyways so far so good. 🙂‍↕️

Now that Grayson has showed up, my suspicions of him being the stalker have come to mind. Though I still think it might be blue. I think Grayson might be lying about when & why he’s on town but only time will tell.
Isla is slowly but surely turning into their mom, but I also think she just wants to get away from her too.

So far I’m enjoying this book but I’m just waiting for it to get juicier. All I can say is I don’t like the mother for exploiting her kids, Connie’s friends & boyfriend sound a bit toxic but I know they mean well, & Connie is crazy for messaging ole boy. What I would like to happen next is for the father to show up & put a stop to this. Also I think blue is Grayson.

So far it’s giving slow burn romance, but I feel like that’s part of the thriller build up. Calvin NEEDS THAT from Grace 😝😝. Also I feel like he had something to do with his ex girlfriend’s death. Can’t wait to see what goes down next.

So far I don’t like anybody in this book. Everybody is trifling in their own way. But I really won’t to hear Nate’s side of the story for once. The whole book so far has been Addie & Eve’s point of view, and it’s kinda getting tiring.

So far so good. I like that with each chapter we’re getting both Addie’s & Eve’s point of view. I don’t think Addie did anything with that teacher but then again you never know. Freida loves to twist things around. But I do have this feeling something might happen with Mr. Bennett though. It’s starting to become obvious, but we’ll see.

I like it so far. Very much giving spooky vibes. I feel like Adrienne is hiding somewhere in the house tbh. Also Tricia needs to tell Ethan bout that baby ASAP!!!

This book is already messy & we haven’t even got to the good parts yet. But so far so good I’m waiting for the real drama to start.

I honestly feel like I know where this story is going. The fact that Shane is so adamant on the fact he didn’t try to murder Brooke is really convincing me he didn’t do it. But I guess will see. So far so good. The flashbacks to when they were all in high school really brings the story to life.
