i knew tom would kills dad first, he was just an abusive asshole. now how will he get rid of the body & explain his disappearance, is something he prolly didn’t think of. it’s definitely gonna come back & bite him in the ass. now with sydney, she needs to take jake’s offer & do a background check on dr. perfect. because he DOES seem too good to be true. especially with her history of dating.

this last few chapters have had my brain scrambled. idk if it’s obvious tom killed brandi or not. but i’m sure he’s mystery man aka tom brown. but tom might do something to alison to keep from breaking up with daisy. she apparently knows too much. but i don’t think tom killed her & think someone did & tom was last to see her alive & well before she went missing

just from reading those 4 chapters i don’t think tom was the one that killed the missing girl brandi, but i do think he saw her the night she went missing. i also have some suspicions with his friend slug. he seems like the type to be violent if wanted to just by the way he speaks about women. & all this might correlate with bonnie’s death too

these violent intrusive thoughts & dreams of tom’s are really getting out of hand. this is a trait he DEFINITELY got from his dad, even if he won’t admit that. i feel he’s going to accidentally hurt or kill daisy. now with the bonnie case, i feel like dr. mchottie killed her & his name is really tom. but the book could surprise me & it could be randy behind all this. or even…gretchen.

i feel like tom, dr. mchottie, & mystery man are all the same person. bonnie said he was a doctor & tom wanted to be doctor. but that’s way too obvious, so idk. it could’ve been real kevin who killed her but how would he know where she lived & the apartment number. there’s too many suspects for the case & everyone has a motive.

i surely think that sydney’s mystery man is definitely bonnie’s boyfriend, dr. mchottie. which will be really awkward. but i feel like if they did find each other, he would go be ok with trying to get at sydney even though he’s with bonnie. until he finds out they’re friends. now with tom. i know he said he didn’t get any traits from his dad, but i think he did especially with his intrusive thoughts .

the book started off pretty crazy but i feel like im going to like it. i honestly don’t know which was a crazy start, tom wanting to kill the girl is likes or sydney almost getting sexual assaulted by her date.

i think boo radley is trying to send send scout & jen a message & be their friend, but his brother nathan is keeping that from happening. he might be the sketchy one. a fire a at miss maudie’s house causes commotion in the neighborhood. even though she may have lost everything, she is still joyful. this was a blessing in disguise for her, even though i think she may have started the fire.

dill is clearly a bad influence. ever since he came to town, jen has been acting carelessly. especially with the way he’s treating scout. as if he’s trying to impress dill. scout is starting to see that some things aren’t worth the risk & trying to talk sense into them. but she gives into peer pressure & their actions today could’ve gotten them killed.

we get to see the ways of the people in maycomb. some people follow the rules & others don’t, but they have their ways of getting away with it. we also see scout developing into her own person & not someone who just follows what her brother says & does. she’s starting to see things for what they are.

so far i’m reading the pov of jean finch aka scout. for a girl a her age she is really smarter than you think & i think that’s because of her upbringing. she’s opinionated, but not in a rude way & she she seems to have her head on straight for a 6 year old. she’s been describing what it’s like to be in a small town back during the great depression.

these last 4 chapters i’ve read just told summed up everything & im not done reading yet. we finally found out what happened to not only chelsea but brooke’s parents too. & only also why they hated shane so much. this whole time tim was innocent. i’m BEYOND shocked right now.

however josh feels about shane, im feeling it too. something is off with him. he’s too eager. i mean yes he just got out of prison & is meeting his son, but something doesn’t seem right. also the fact he WANTS to move back to the farmhouse after what happened is a little crazy. i know he doesn’t have anywhere else to go but still. & i don’t like how he gaslit brooke into taking him there.

tim is now in jail for the murder of kelli & the incident from 11 years ago. also shane is free. but something is still isn’t right tho. like all of this is happening too fast & easy. you usually get this kind of conclusion at the end of the story but there’s a little more to go. i feel like there’s something deeper that happened that night 11 years ago.

tim definitely did something to kelli. the way he got so nervous & left brooke’s house when he saw her the news was ever telling. then he lied about going on dates with her too. HE DID SOMETHING TO HER!! shane finding out about josh was heartbreaking. i really felt bad for him. but i what i really wanna know is wth happened to chelsea that night? cause it’s not making sense.

tim is looking more guilty has i keep reading. because how the HELL did you find the same exact necklace with the same exact defect? unless he had it all along. also looking back 11 years ago chelsea also thought tim was responsible for the killings. i want to know what happened to her after all that. i feel like she’s the ball drop of the story.

i think i was tim who killed kayla & maybe even brandon. i just need more proof, but it’s starting to get a little obvious. he hated brandon & didn’t really care for kayla even tho they were hooking up. but i could be wrong. also marcus being an old classmate of theirs is connecting a lot of dots & why he hates shane. idk maybe he was the one there that night. but how would he have killed kayla tho ? we’ll see.

what if the killer is chelsea ? that was be a good plot twist, but i doubt it’s her. it’s giving either tim or shane. two people have died already & i can’t tell who’s really responsible. on the other hand tim & brooks kissing is no surprise. i knew they would get together at some point but it’s not going to last. tim may haven’t killed people, but something is a little weird about him. same for shane.

if shane didn’t try to kill brooke, then it was definitely tim. but i wonder who killed brandon. since time was upstairs with kayla. maybe someone was watching them, but it’s unlikely. when time meets josh, he seems mad by the way brooke describes his reaction. like “how could she have a kid with shane” mad. almost possessive like. i think shane is right about him, but he could just be manipulative.

i still think brooke shouldn’t trust shane, even if he is innocent. he could be lying to her of course. but with their history, i can see her being hesitant. they used to be in love. with that being said i wonder if the reason brooke couldn’t come back home was because her parents knew something about shane that she didn’t. like if he was really in jail yet. or worse, maybe it was about tim.

going back 11 years ago, you can tell tim liked brooke more than just a friend & that he was jealous of her relationship with shane. even if shane was a bully. but more there’s more to it than that. he knows something about shane. also how did shane know tim took tracy on dates? lots of questions need to be answered. its giving tim killed tracy & also tried to kill brooke out of jealousy, but we’ll see.

brooke’s job is very unprofessional when it comes to treating inmates with respect. like i get their criminals but at the same they shouldn’t be neglected like that. i also feel like dorothy knows about shane & brooke’s past together but she’s not saying anything yet. shane & brooke finally meet & it’s awkward, but brooke seems to be handling it well. shane is also adamant he did try to kill her years ago.

idk why brooke would apply somewhere she knows her ex boyfriend (who is also a murder) be. but like she said she didn’t have many options. i fee like this book is going to get very chaotic very quickly & im excited. i also like how its going back to 5 years ago when her story really began.

phoebe seems like a good little sister to holden & i can tell he truly adores her. when holden went to go see his old teacher, i think he got some pretty good advice from him. he also told him the path he’s going down isn’t good for him. i think holden really took that into perspective. until the the teacher started acting weird. idk what that was about.

holden finally goes home & his sister is the only one there. it’s nice to see the type of bond they have. also i’m glad phoebe gave him a reality check about himself. telling him he’s always complaining & that he doesn’t like anything or anyone. she’s very mature for her age. i just think holden is behaving like any rebellious teenage boy.

i already knew holden was immature but you can really tell by the conversation he had with Luce. but then again he thought that luce would be up for the conversation about sex since that’s all luce would talk bout at whooton. holden is always very pessimistic but also empathetic in a since. he has a weird way of expressing his emotions. but what 16 year old doesn’t .

i feel like holden is regulating like any rebellious teenaged boy would. talking trash about everyone else’s actions but isn’t a saint himself. the way he goes about his emotions it almost gives he has adhd or something. i also realize he hates being around “phony” but calls them up when he gets lonely. the boy can never be alone.

holder’s been getting into a lot of confrontation & hasn’t handled them well. i’m surprised he hasn’t just gone home, he’s determined not to. he does a lot of reminiscing these couple of chapters & he has a very vivid imagination. i honestly can’t wait for him to finally meet up with jane because he talks about her a lot.

holden is kind of an asshole & rude but you can tell it’s because of his age. but i also think he’s kind of mature for his age as well. he complains too. i can tell the he hates being alone & he really wants a friend. a GOOD friend, like jane gallagher. he speaks very fond of people that he cares about but anyone else he’s down talking them.

holden is a person who really cares about people & the stuff that goes on around him, but in his own way. especially when it comes to how people treat each other. he calls people out on their crap even though it can be hypocritical at times. but i feel like he knows about his actions & his words towards people. anyways he decided to leave pencey early & take a nice little vacation. his story really begins now.
