This story is quite unique and I am engaged and have been reluctant to put it away and switch from bookworm to adult :D

As I do not have knowledge of DID, I do not feel equipped to estimate how sensitively or accurately it is portrayed in this book, but I suspect it's rather decent as it does not seem to further most of what I understand to be the really harmful and misguided generalisations.

Hit 1/3 of the audiobook. I am feeling anxious about how this story is going to develop and end. I haven't read any reviews so I have no idea at all. The one thing I can say for sure is that it's been a while since I read a book set in a society whose culture was so little known to me that I kept googling all sorts of mentioned details during the setting of the scene for the story so that I can understand it better.
