I love that this book shares multiple perspectives within the book with Sam, Nisha (Anita), Phil, and even Cat! I love that it’s multidimensional. I have really enjoyed so far and I love the twist it’s now taking with Jasmine, Sam, Nisha, and Andrea are friends and working together to get back the shoes!

This book has pleasantly surprised me! I love how the meaning of “someone else’s shoes” is both literal and figurative. Taking a look on how Sam gets insight on how Nisha’s life is with actually wearing her shoes and then Nisha gets insight on Jasmine’s life with working her job, staying in her apartment with her daughter, and understanding what struggles underprivileged/lower classes experience is cool!

I initially picked up this book as a Tik Tok recommendation from book tok and after seeing all of the discourse of it being “over hyped” and too “smutty” I was scared because I just have finished two Amy Daws books from her Mountain Men series and was shocked at how smutty stuff can get. So far, I don’t think there’s anything too smutty and I actually enjoy how it has different elements like mystery!

Woah—flying through this book really fast! Love that it’s a FALL READ. It’s an easy, clean read. I have enjoyed how it makes me nostalgic about fall. All of this talk about the perfect pumpkin spice latte makes me want to go get one myself and find a town like Briar Glenn!🎃

This book is a little young for me—I feel like it may be written for middle schoolers. I initially bought this book for the $5 book at Barnes and Noble because it looked like it had fall vibes and was super cute. I definitely get a bit of Gilmore Girls vibes for sure and the book is certainly cute so far, a fast read! We’ll see how I feel at the end of it! Love the vibes overall, easy read!

I accidentally read “The Seven Year Itch” before this and I will say that I was taken away by how sexual it was. I was extremely worried about this book because the reviews made comments about the surrogate relationship being unethical, however the book is so far great and better written than the second. It’s also not as smutty so far, which I appreciate and has a good story line!

“What In The World” has been an interesting book so far wrapped with Leanne Morgan’s life story to stardom and experiences as a daughter, wife, and mom. This book was selected as a book to read for my new book club and so far I think it’s pretty interesting, coming from a 24 year old gal. I can relate to all of her moving around and appreciate her stories and humor!

Wow! I was not expecting that level of spice! I really have enjoyed the enemies to lovers trope. I think how Amy Daws has kind of left this on a kind of slow burn in terms of both of them admitting they like each other is cool. I do think sometimes as a reader that it’s so obvious to me that they like each other that I wonder how they both don’t see it? I am excited to see where their love story goes!

So far, so good! I feel like the author, Doidge does give a lot of background on the patients which is nice, however sometimes he is a little bit repetitive. I do appreciate that he is thorough with explaining terms and ensuring that his readers fully understand what they are reading. I think with the Neuro terms and conditions, this has been a good refresher after my neurology course.

So far so good! I like that there are more hints of explaining things from Katie’s past, like Aunt Rosie. I do believe the book bounces around a lot from the past and present. I like that there are two love interests, kind of drives me insane sometimes—but at least this round there’s a little more action in comparison to Play The Fool.
