I miss dystopian omg

I’m reading this sooo slooowly.

I wonder how George Orwell predicted the future so well, especially the desensitization of violence nowadays. People wanting to see people getting hanged, acting as the Spies. It feels like a point that society is going to reach in the near future.

I’ve highlighted so so much omg I love it.

I’m only 4% in and have highlighted 9 times.

This book is interesting, it’s written in the perspective of what this author thought the future was gonna be like if it was taken over by a controlling, propaganda driven group.

AHH I’m SO excited to get back into reading my fav book from this series. You can really see the potential of all the characters and it’s just so much more adventurous compared to the other 2.

HOLY FREAKING PLOT TWIST !!

I love the found family trope in this book and it kinda reminds me of the 100 in the sense that its a bunch of smart teens with different strengths tryna survive.

I LOOVE that the main character actually deals with periods in this book !!

The story is getting interesting fs. I’m not too invested tbh but like it’s definitely fun and maybe even reread worthy.

I like the concept of this ocean-focused school. Seems super fun. Kinda slow to read but nonetheless I think it’ll be interesting !!

This is an interesting story. I am not really into mythology but maybe I should be !! This book is inspired by the story 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea and the character Captain Nemo who was a victim (and hero) of the European colonization of India, which is cool. Can’t wait to see where this goes !!

Holy goodness I hate Deans father so so much. I hate the Director Sterling thought this was okay (hate him too…) and I just hate all this for Dean.

This books lowkey my least fav compared to the other 3, but honestly I do like it more this time around. Dean is really growing on me and the trauma that he’s been thru is really evident in this book.

Everytime I pick up these fuh ahh books I wish and I wish that Micheal and Cassie could’ve ended up tg. I get that Dean is great for her but lile MICHEAL 😭😭
