I can see the similarities to blood over bright haven I find it quite intriguing it takes place during the industrial period. I remember finding that interesting during school so I’m kind interested to read more about this era in a fictional setting. The characters seem interesting so I’m curious to read more

I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE BEAST BEING CLARA AND I LIKED THE TWIST ABOUT HER AND THE BEAST CONNECTION AND THE THEME OF HER HAVING EXPCET WHAT SHES DONE EVEN IF ITS NOT HER FAULT. And I like how the author didn’t go the route of having the therapists work with the beast it makes it more impactful for the characters and their arcs also wish the epilogue was a little more fleshed out but overall loved this book

Alright this is getting wild I honestly like the characters can’t tell what’s real and what’s fake I’m sure there’s going to be a good plot twist about the creature and why it does what it does but I’m not sure what that could be just yet. I’m very curious to read and find out more

Woah this keeps getting more interesting I can’t say for certain if the therapists know about the creature or not but they’re definitely aware of something in my opinion. I’m still interested to see how the story progresses and what happened to Sam and Regan. Also I like how the author has made the girls backstories different but yet have similar underlying themes it makes them feel connected to each other

This book is really gripping I like the horror factor I don’t find it scary or anything cause I’m to much of a horror love for that but I can feel the tension and drama. The influence from yellow jackets and smile is definitely apparent. Also 5 stars for 28 weeks late reference. I love the characters so far and I’m really interested to see how the rest of the story pans out. Definitely reading more later 🫡

So I was right with delaney having more of a connection to the camp and I knew she was aware something was wrong with the woods I’m curious to see her reaction when I’m guessing it’ll get proven something weird it up with it. I liked getting to know more of the characters and seeing their slow/subtle improvements I’m curious to see what will happen to them considering the woods and there danger

I’m really enjoying this book. I like all the girls so far they’re all different and stand out. Penny is a good protagonist I’m interested to find out more about her and the other girls. There’s definitely something weird going on and also have no idea who Penny is gonna end up with I swear she’s into like half the camp 😭

I’m liking the action and unfolding mystery more now than early into the book. I think it’s because the chapters and world building was quite heavy something I’m not overly fond of in books I prefer character development and arcs. Also please don’t let maram be a twist villain or something cause I can’t

I like twist of maram being Esther’s mother that it was totally unexpected and it makes a lot of sense I wonder how Esther’s going to react cause I feel like her dad was definitely lying about something cause why did he just never admit to an extent she was alive? Maybe he’s under an nda as well I feel like Richard is the main over arching bad guy of this book. I’ll say it’s finally got more interesting

I can’t lie I’ve found Nicholas and Collin’s a little more interesting now that they’re interacting with Jo and Esther. Also I like the twist that Esther probably is a scribe I want to know why did her father seemingly hide it. Was it cause maybe her mother was a scribe and when she died he didn’t want to tell her to protect her? I like how this book challenges parental dynamics with kids

I still find Nicholas chapter a little boring though I’m more believing there is a connection between him and Jo family or something

I feel like Jo mother has something to do with Nicholas family and all that but I don’t know for sure

I kinda see the connection with Nicholas and Esther though I’m little confused by how/why the mirror was showing it to Nicholas like I’m guessing it’s the trev guys doing but why I’m guessing a punishment or something? I do quite like this book but I can’t lie at times it’s a little confusing

It’s quite interesting I want to find out what is Jo mother up to my guess is maybe she’s under an nda thing like the workers in Nicholas place or maybe Abe made her promise that she couldn’t inherently tell Jo. I do find Nicholas a little more interesting now but he still isn’t my fav character I’m interested to see how these two characters timelines come together

Collin’s definitely has a connection to the villain or something but maybe I’ll be proven wrong. I don’t mind the chapters that focus on Nicholas but I just don’t care as much about them compared to Jo or Esther’s unfortunately hopefully it’ll change as the plot becomes clearer

Nicholas is realized isn’t from another timeline :/ but he does have some family relationship to the the others or it wouldn’t make sense I guess I dunno. But what the fuck is going on with pearl though please don’t be and I’m like manifesting it 😭

I’m liking the two timelines obviously this Nicholas is an ancestor to Jo and Esther my only confusion is if he’s got the magic or not I’m guessing he does cause he runs the library but the line saying magic doesn’t effect him the same is a little confusing but hopefully it’ll make sense in a future chapter

Ooo it’s getting interesting my guess is that Esther’s dad gave her the note thing through the mirror so I’m intrigued to see if I’m right

I’m really liking the mystery in this book and I like the use of dramatic irony as we know why Esther left but obviously Jo doesn’t. I like the sisters dynamic it feels like a natural progression of distance in their relationship and I like how they didn’t go the whole root of they hate each other and that’s that. I really liked all the characters we’ve met so far so yeah

Just started it and I really like Esther so far and I relate to her leaving people behind not intentionally and just focusing on the present even when you think about the past

Eh still eh ngl this might be my first 2.5 star book I like a few elements and ideas but there not really expanded upon interesting it just feels very flat like the ending bit with Nate and brownyn feels flat and cliché I can’t really see myself counting the series

Finally read a bit more supposedly it’s cooper which I kinda predicted ngl still a very eh book

I read a bit more but this book is really starting to bore me ngl. I’m gonna push through with it but honestly I ain’t continuing the series even though I see these books all the time in the charity shops so… it’s alright for maybe a younger young adult audience but not for an older one which is a bit frustrating

Reading the short story (I love how these are included) and I forgot how much I missed Bobbie and serina I like how the author confronts the whole these relationships parallel each other but aren’t the same just like in real life all relationships are slightly different for various reasons so I like that message and it’s honestly a sweet short story

I like the conclusion very cute. I can see why some people in the reviews say the epilogue isn’t great in their opinion I think it works though it is a little dramatic for an ending epilogue I’d rather have seen what happened to the characters more then established a new adventure but that could be for future books too so I can’t really complain

I’m really loving this book I can see why some people have an issue with it like how the alchemy guy is never mentioned before this book and stuff like that but I’ve really enjoyed getting to know more about the history of the world and characters.Also my bet is on Al and that Polana woman working together or something idk

Woah I dunno who to believe I feel like it might have something to do with Al or polan (even that’s seems a bit obvious) so I’m not sure but intrigued to find out

I forgot how much I love this series (I say this like I haven’t read the other three like a week and a bit ago) still I’m loving their relationship I’m interested to see if we explore more of their married dynamic I hope we will. I’m predicting that alchemy is like a weaking thing where it doesn’t necessarily kill but more just weakens your like strength overtime but I might be wrong
