Almost finished and woah I’m kinda right but also the ending took an unexpected twist. I like how the ending loops to the opening. I do kinda wish we would get a follow up chapter like an epilogue on what happened to some of the characters like alba and her family as well as some of the others. I think the ending works well but I think it could be more interesting

I didn’t even account for the rioting so I’m interested to see if sciona and any of the others can stop them and make them understand. Not gonna lie I feel like the story is gonna end with sciona and thomil and maybe Cara fleeing back into the other world (forgot what it’s called) and starting a new beginning or maybe they stop the riots we’ll see

That escalated fast. Firstly I liked sciona relationship with the other characters like you can really see that she’s grown and changed over the book with the help of thomil which I adore. VERY INTRIGUED TO SEE WHERE IT GOES

Just finished the chapter off and that’s about it. Very excited to see where it goes though

I’m glad Sciona got out of that situation cause what the fuck honestly fuck half those mages

Im very intrigued to see how the presentation thing will go. I like that Sciona is playing along I reckon her and binghmans relationship will definitely change I kinda shocked he knew all along. I really like the politics in this book actually. Usually I’m not one for world building/politics but they’re handle amazingly in this book and yeah I just sciona as a character I really relate to her

Woah thats all I got say. I think my in little issue with it I wish we had more of an overall conclusion for some of the other characters but I do like the ending for the most part

Wait el better not side with Tal otherwise I’ll cry. I like the call back to some parts of the first book and I like that’s it’s done well. Also I relate to Sabine I like how’s she figuring both her out and herself

WOAH I CALLED IT TAL IS THE SECOND SON AND NAH THAT “breakup” I CANT THEY BETTER COME TOGETHER STRONG THAN EVER AT THE END OF THE BOOK. IM CURIOUS TO SEE HOW THE REST OF THE STORY IS GONNA PLAY OUT

Woah this is just as good as the first book. I’m torn between Tal or that weirdo snake guy (forgot his name) as the second son but I’m leaning more towards tal. I love the dynamic between el and Sabine I like how they have this fling which is definitely more than just a fling but are also scared to confront the more intense feelings something I can relate to. So excited to read more

Woah that twist was good I wonder how magic is gonna change/evolve now I’m guessing sciona is going to figure out how but nah. Yeah I really like sciona as a character I sympathize with her and I like thomil as well I love how the twist perfectly connects with beginning scene of the book cause at first I didn’t get the connection but now it makes so much sense

Not gonna lie I’ve found this book kinda inspiring so far. Which not really any other book has like I’ve enjoyed and loved them but not necessarily been inspired. But I really like Sciona I find her complex and compelling I really relate to her struggles with working hard and people taking credit for it or just generally looking down on you so I’m quite enjoying this book

This is getting interesting and I really like sciona I relate to her struggles with proving herself and feeling like you ain’t good enough for anything

I’m liking the start of this book. It’s definitely slower pace than other books I read but I don’t mind. I like the main girl lead I see a bit of myself in her and can relate so I hope she’s slay and becomes a notable high mage. At first I was confused with the opening scene but now it makes sense cause i re-read the books blurb 😭

I forgot to update on here 😅 but anyway I’ve loved this book the characters and the twists. I predicted that Sabine would be the third daughter through the clever hints but still it was a nice pay off to read it and see the characters reaction. Also the cliffhanger I need the next book now. Also Sabine and elodie better be together for real next book or I’ll cry

Woah this book is good I’m hooked. I really like both the main protagonists and I’m looking forward to learning about their stories. Also them meeting was cute so yeah

Aww so knew the witch would get close to her. Still there’s a lot of mystery about what she is and her motives so… also getting major lumity vibes so 10/10

It’s getting really interesting honestly I wanna know more about the with but she’s definitely starting to warm up to Mina like I say with half these books I read they give lumity vibes I can’t 😭

This book is good!! It’s hitting the same notes and style as the society of soulless girls which is amazing. I feel bad for mina honestly and interested to see how her and the witches dynamic will grow. I have a prediction that mina will takeover her fathers title as ruler by the end but at the same time I could see her completely giving up that life so we’ll see

WHAT NAH THE TWIST I FEEL BAD FOR PAEYDN FOR A WHILE NOW I THINK SHE IS TIED TO THE ROYAL FAMILY BUT I FANT QUITE PROVE IT BUT NOW THIS ACTS AS MORE EVIDENCE

Firstly gonna call it Kitt is going to marry paeydn not cause he wants to but he and the advisors which I pretty sure was the guy from the resistance knows it’ll be good for the kingdom. Also they’re gonna survive I still dunno how my guess is maybe the guards running after them were imperials or something I dunno?

I can’t believe I called it that he would make a bet. Also I forgot Andy was a character but I do quite like her I think it’s because she reminds me of Frankie from KOG. I’m interested to see what will happen to paedyn

Woo I wasn’t expecting him to find paeydn so quickly I feel like cause he wants to fight her I recon he’ll make a sort of bet with her that he’ll give her more time to run if she wins but if she loses she must return to Ilya

I feel for paeydn I can’t lie she doesn’t mean to hurt people it just happens cause of what they do I dunno if that made sense I’m very tired

I haven’t made to much more progress :/ but I’m interested to see how their next encounter will play out as I wonder if it’s going to be just as tense and insane as the last

Im excited to get back into this world. I like how they are making Kai still have conflicting thoughts about taking down paeydn it makes him feel more real.
