I'm in love. 100%

Oh, how in love with this book I am.

I am in love. I am in heaven. I am laughing and crying the happiest of tears. This will be the grandest addition to my library. I can't wait to finish it and at the same time, never want it to end.

While I absolutely adore parts I dislike others strongly. Nice to read once. I wouldn't buy it however.

Good and bad. But that's my personal opinion. I loved parts of it with my whole heart and other parts I truly could have done without. Though I am sure it made it much more historically accurate and is the basis of the whole book. So I did not like parts of it due to some of the graphicness (which really wasn't terrible but I just don't like that stuff).

A bit hard to get through. Will come back to it as I feel able.

I adore the way he writes.

I have always loved this book and all those by James Herriot. Brings me back to my childhood. Love Love Love.

I want this book for my library!! So wonderful!!!

Really just not great. Lots of swearing. People aren’t likable at all. Lots of sexual things in a pornographic light not lovingly. Just got that icky kinda dark feeling while reading it.

LOOOVVVEEE!!! UGHHH! This is the perfect fall or rainy day curled up in a comfy chair with tea by the rainy window with your dog laying peacefully at my feet sort of book:) I love.
