They say to “show, not tell” when writing. This book doesn’t show Jim’s character, and niether do they tell it. I’m really impressed by the actual storyline and plot, but our main character really isn’t supporting it

The book is about the dehumanization of the lower class and propaganda, but Stephen King keeps dehumanizing black people and women.

All the women in this book are whores. I feel like this would be a good interactive game though. Didn’t David Cage say the same thing? That all women in his games were whores?

The main character has so gas said the n word once, the f slur twice, and has compared a black person to a minstrel show. Yes, he is a straight, white man.
