We're so back! Louise x Louis and Madame's jealousy.. ooh lala. I want them to kiss already :( . I'm so happy that D'Artagnan and Porthos are back. Porthos may be my #1 from the musketeers.. he's so funny! I wonder if there will be a romance between him and Trüchen, I hope there is. He seems to treat ladies pretty nicely

Guiche has been reaccepted.. could an affair blossom between Madame and Guiche? The King and Saint-Aignan are distraught and humiliated because of Madame's jests. However, I really wanna see romance bloom between Athenaïs and Saint-Aignan, the way he described her was so poetic and lovely! I find Louise a little boring and weepy at times, but I don't dislike her character.

This book is actually quite humorous, full of gossip and drama. I'm enjoying reading it so fat. I can't wait to see more Malicorne x Montalais content, and how Aramis works behind the scenes to help Fouquet. I love the plot building in this book and the sudden reveals that just drag me in further!!

This one is a little harder to get into than the others, but once I sit down and read, I'm back in the zone. My heart breaks for poor de Guiche.. 😕😕😕 Louis is smooth AF. So far, this book feels like highschool romance gossip lolol

Lorraine is a shitstirrer, Monsieur is a jealous mess, Louis and Henrietta are both cheaters, Guiche is gone.. just drama all around

Everyone's just beefing😭 D'Artagnan confronted De Wardes after chatting shit, Buckingham wants to scrap De Wardes, Louis is trying to make Fouquet broke as hell and Fouquet's ex mistress is cussing him behind his back. Lots of drama and tension building so far

Malicorne x Montalais content? Louise x Raoul content? Are we going to see more of the side romances fluorish??? I'm so excited!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Aramis and Porthos don't seem to share the same side of D'Artagnan... I can't wait to see how that develops. Aramis is incredibly intelligent, it's super admirable!!!! Porthos just snores lol

Lot's of action! Loving it so far. At first, I thought I'd rate this book lower than the previous ones, but I have changed my mind by now. Super happy to see Porthos and D'Artagnan meet again ❤️

I didn't expect d'Artagnan to be serving the king again. It's interesting to see Louis XIV gain more confidence too.

Down with Mazarin! So far, this book has a greater air of seriousness compared to the previous parts. I was surprised but also satisfied with D'Artagnan's confrontation with King Louis, and I'm excited to see the plot thicken. Athos' honourable and kind character is always a joy to read about in the books. I'm excited to see the four reunite once more! D'Artagnan also never fails to make me chuckle with his passion.

I really enjoy how the novel has started off, and Dumas' descriptions into the characters. I really enjoy Montalais' character, I find her really funny! I hope to see the relationship between Louise and Raoul develop and bloom. I'm also excited to see the old musketeers come back into the story 😁 Athos being a father is so heartwarming to see as well!
