Can't wait for this to be over.

I have until next Friday to finish this. I don't know if I'm going to make it, or if I really care. I keep zoning out and I don't care enough to go back to figure out what's going on.

Still don't love this. Too many words that say nothing and characters I don't give two shits about isn't doing this any favors.

This is taking me forever to get through and it's not the book's fault. Life is killing my will to read

I love Coal and Hex as characters so much, but this story man. Not it.

This whole Santa being a raging colonizer and somewhat dictator is giving me the biggest ick. I can see the author wanted to tackle the commercialization of the holidays, but there's definitely a better way to do it than this.

I don't remember much from the first book, but I do remember how much I love Niya. She is by far the best lol

Does anyone know if Liz has ever stayed an extended time in the Adirondacks? Her placement of the camp doesn't make total sense to me.

I think it's official. Leigh Bardugo just doesn't do it for me outside of Six of Crows, and honestly, I'm kind of afraid to reread the series and end up not liking that too. I don't know if it's the actual story or the fact I can't stand Laruen Fortgang as an audiobook narrator, but this entire time it's just been words spoken at me with nothing truly sticking in the ol' noggin.
