Didn't realize this author wrote another dystopian i liked, though this one really hits close to home. So far, its everything i want a book to be. Within the first few chapters, there were tears in my eyes and my jaw was on the floor. Can't wait to finish this one!

Had to put this one down. Dont get me wrong, this book has a great premise. I dont mind some smut here and there especially when there has been enough development for me to be like yeah, i hope they fuck. But this main character is drooling over every man she sees the moment he walks in the room.

Someone said "is the dystopia in the room with us now?" In another review and that had me cackling. So true.

I'm feeling like i just consented to a high-speed car crash. I'm fine, everything is fine. I only convulsed for like 4 seconds.

I see the vision now, but I still dont fuck with the rotating narrators. Every other chapter leaves me on a cliffhanger, and by the time I loop back around, ive forgotten what was even happening. That being said, I cant get enough of this story. Im gonna come out the other side with at least one tattoo dedicated to this series.

Well. Pierce Brown is still at it. "Someone shrieks in the distance like they are on fire. It wasnt until the medics pull me away from my sisters lifeless corpse and her dead children that I realize that the screams are my own" 😭😵‍💫

At first, I wasnt rocking with the way the narration style changed. 4 different narrators is kindof intense and makes it harder to follow along when I only read a few chapters at a time. This book also picks up 10 years after the original trilogy, which threw me off. Gonna struggle through my confusion in hopes that this book is at least a fraction as good as the last.

This has been a journey. I am afraid to finish the trilogy. I've wept. Ive cheered. I've been shaken to my core. I will never be the same.

You know a book is great when you start having dreams about it almost every night

The author does not give a single solitary fuck about your feelings - he will rip out your heart and spit on it, and you'll love him for it.
