I'm struggling with this book.

This is VERY well written. As someone who loves learning new words, this book has expanded my vocabulary.

The not so good: I'm not sure if I really like the story? I also have this strange feeling that while Ms. Tartt, while giving a wink and a nod to her reader about the pretentiousness of her characters, is trying very hard to be pretentious. If that makes since. I don't know.

Well, my vocabulary will certainly expand reading this novel.
