I was excited to read a bird-based fiction book, but this was a bit disappointing. I was wanting something with a more significant plot, a beginning and end. It’s been a bit bland, but I might finish it now that I’m also reading something that checks more of those boxes. I really enjoyed the first chapter, not so much the ones after. Very nice cover though.

I LOVE IT. Nature. Fiction. Oceanography. The way the stories intertwine. Big fan of this. Will definitely try some others by this author.

Enjoying it so far. Really enjoyed learning about the sky woman (mother?) origin and the cycle of pecan trees.
