I just finished A Better Man: A Chief Inspector Gamache Novel. Very seldom have I been made to shed tear over a book. For this one I did. Several times. Ms. Penny always has such feeling for all of the characters in her books that their comings and goings are heart felt. Their deaths and near deaths are painful. I feel that I know these people. I will look forward to the next book.
