I haven't been actively reading this for about a year now, though it feels like I just put it down and it is fresh in my memory as the book I'm "Currently reading". Changes in my life and daily habits have limited my reading time, but I've very much been enjoying this read. Of course, I've seen the movies and the Broadway show, but there are so many details that are missed in those adaptations.

Logging the practical application of the campaign here.
My start was shaky, I didn't involve the players in the setting well and they mostly didn't care about the festivities. The Pixie's Kitten helped. The battles went fine, but was a bit slow. I think experience will help. Hit the mini adventures with mostly apathy from the players. Managing to horrify the players a bit though. Lots of love for dogs.

I've skimmed this, I've read certain sections ahead of this, but I'm doing a full read through of the campaign to make sure I've got this down. I'm tracking my progress on the Read-through here, and tracking the campaign progress on the individual chapters separately for a different kind of review.
So far I'm loving this campaign in it's story and concept. I love the town, I love the goblins. good stuff here.

I still own the book. I still plan to read more... but it's shelved for now. Life gets busy sometimes.

I'm not going to finish this one on audio... I can't follow it well in this format. Perhaps I'll try again when I stumble across the paperback.

I can't do it... I really enjoyed the 1st and second book... This one has genre flipped on me, and I don't like the way it's gone.

King doesn't give a crap about the rules of his craft... I've had issue with this in the past, but what King is doing in this book is hard to swallow... In looking forward to the conclusion of this trilogy, I am treated with a sudden change of genre and expectation in sense of disbelief... King is teetering on the edge of ejecting the reader from the story and running off on a tangent...
