Did Hanna and aria commit acts of terrorism in Iceland?? 3 books of mentioning this horrific deed that made them never want to talk about this trip and stop being friends yet there has been no implication of what it was, no threats of it from A AND a whole other thing that happened before the inciting incident of the last book that didn’t have any effect on them even though it would’ve made much more sense to use

First half was super slow but the last half picked up tremendously. Having already known the twist it was very obvious, but I’m surprised Aria was the only hesitant one. The Caroline stuff was pretty obvious from the get-go with a lot of signs pointing to a mystery. Glad to see the girls are going to start hanging out again

Can Hanna have an ounce of character development? Just a crumb? No? Ok!

A lot more intrigue and drama at the beginning of this book than the last. Was always curious why they never really told the police much in the show; they weren’t believed in the books. At least not yet. Interested to see how this Ian plot resolves.

Literally why hasn’t Mike been beaten by everyone for being skeevy, Emily bisexual arc, aria teetering on another inappropriate age gap relationship- with her moms boyfriend. Spencer adopted?

Emily bisexual, if mike was my kid i would put him on the streets IMMEDIATELY. Kate is annoying af and Spencer is blacklisted from life. Damnnnn

every chapter, every girl just dredges further into the trenches.these girls do NOT talk with each other yet which is a bit of a frustration, but understandable considering how separated they were

almost lesbian sex, mike learns about the affair 😲, spencer is going through it 😭, and hanna crashed a car and *suprisingly* has to deal with the consequences

Emily’s mom was bigot so they made her Filipino in the show, removed her racism, and kept all her other nastiness :)
