just finished chapter 2 quite interesting talking about octopuses different ways they think and experiments

the end of the introduction got me interested and now he’s talking about the origins of life something that irks me is that he’s not a biologist so i have to take everything he says with a grain of salt

i’m at the part where he has countered the problem of evil and he is about to counter the problem of unnecessary evil but i will continue later

Not bad he explains the properties of God somewhat even though there are issues

I’ve been reading this book since 2018 HAHAHA coz it’s quite dry for me but as an entry level book it’s pretty good they explain the concepts then let you read famous essays from philosophers on either side and let you think for yourself. So far i’ve only read the chapter on religion, mind and believing without evidence. going to start the chapter on free will soon

I’ve finished the 5 proofs and i think the last one about psr is the most convincing one so far. i must say that as an entry level reader into this genre sometimes his explanations of philosophical concepts have too much jargon and i think he should relate it back to real world examples more but that’s just me. But so far i think it’s a well written book

it’s abit dry for me only some parts are interesting to me and the only thing i can remember is that the barter system is a myth and debt slavery and when i read it i instantly fall asleep HAHAHA oops

super good i love the way he ends off the stories on the climax and it just lets your imagination run wild
