Three of my books are being reissued by Open Roads Integrated Media, offered this week at $2.99. The Last Matriarch is about the extinction of the Pleistocene mammoths some 11,000 years ago. When the Land was Young has a few chapters on those extinctions. Songs of the Fluteplayer is about being a back-to-the-lander: homebirths, a too big garden, trying to root into soil like a potato or carrot.
