I'm so cooked bc this is a library book. Premise was interesting but who the hell thought to recc this bc it's soooo slow with unnecessary events happening to the characters but I've already committed too many pages to give it up TT

Realise I saved the wrong edition but anyway this book is not it so far and I'm dragging my feet to get back to this

Newman is actually quite entertaining but the amount of theology (especially relation to High Church Anglicanism in the 19thC) is making me take longer to read this...

This is supposed to be a murder mystery but it's becoming such a drag because too much focus on other things. Hoping I can finish this before the year ends...
