The writing is ok but the pace is all wrong! It totally diluted the fear.

The writing almost has a child-like quality, meaning, the author knows nothing about the topic she wrote, not even how much money could run a small country.

Then the rival boss decided to teach him top secret BDSM skills, so that he could revenge on his father when he got out? It's hard to believe the MC had any medical training at all, esp. he just had a fits when his agency made fun of his post graduate study in forensic science, right before him being brought in by the police.
