It seems like all of the characters in this book are lying in some way, each person has different personalities, some are timid and open, others are closed off and others are angry. I love how Scarlett is changing from a timid girl whose whole life was based on what her father wanted for her and what was best for her sister to her still wanting to protect her sister, but protecting and caring for herself as well.

I love how strongly this book is starting out and how I can see different points of view. The different points of view make it so that I have multiple characters that I can relate with and the fact that the book starts off with each of their own points of view makes it so I can understand why they are there, what they have to loose and their backstory.

As I started this book it feels like it reads for a younger age group. I don't usually like this genre but I have so far liked the idea behind this book and the language is very smooth and almost romantic. I love how the main character sees or tastes her emotions, I think it really adds to the quiet magic that is written into this book.

I love how Noah and Jude are written as like mirror images (opposites but also the same) as each other. Currently they both have these secrets they are afraid to tell each other, and Jude feels like everyone knows except her (because they kind of do). I love how Noah is constantly imagining his life as like paintings he wants to create and Jude imagines her life as "bible entries" in her grandma's "magic/witchy bible

The poetic wording of this book fully conveys all the points. Specifically when Jude realizes she can be her own person separate from Noah and it is phrased as "NoahandJude becomes Noah and Jude". I really like how both Noah and Jude know the same person but they have very different relationships and views of this person.

Noah and Bryan's relationship was built up, but now after much anticipation, it is crashing down. We see Noah's perspective as his life is ruined at the same time as we see Jude's life slowly healing which is a good literary device that makes readers compare Jude and Noah's lives even though they appear so similar and helps us make assumptions on what will happen next.

I love how the author uses different views of Jude and Noah, one in the past and one in the present and how they follow very similar paths at different times in their life. It helps to expand the idea that Jude and Noah are in very similar but far away worlds, and that though their paths haven't crossed in a long time, they still understand each other and still share moments with each other.

I love the way Jandy Nelson continues to frame, describe and characterize Oscar. Jude and Oscar get along so well, I love the way they match each other perfectly like puzzle pieces and how Jude continues to describe Oscar and Gulliermo as her place and as more of a home than her true home. I love watching as Jude slowly emerges from the shell she built around herself.

I love Guillermo's character. I love the way Jandy Nelson describes everything about him - his smell, his look, his rough but kind personality. I like how Jude is bonding so well with Guillermo and Oscar, and it's cute imagining how Oscar and Jude keep flirting with each other. I also love that they can all make fun of each other and nobody gets upset or hurt, especially since they all only just met.

I love how Jandy Nelson expresses and describes art as if it's a live character and is colorful and fulfilling. One character, Jude, is entering into this old-new authentic version of herself and her self expression and affection of art is beautiful.

The relationship between Brian and Noah has developed and ended, which is hard and emotional but it opens up Judes heart and Noah and Jude are working towards griwing their relationship. Jude is a symbol of popular girls who change thenselves all the time but Noah grounds her.

I love how I get to see the relationship between Noah and Jude through both of their eyes. Jude’s relationship with herself is very deep and laid out slowly so that it is easier to grasp but the overwhelming guilt she feels has changed her a lot. Noah is his true self in the beginning but not the end where as Jude doesn’t really know who she is.

The book is slowly digging deeper into the relationship between Cathy and Heathcliff. I hate the way Heathcliff is treated so horribly and Cathy is expected to be proper all the time now. The characters are being forced to change by society but their love for each other is staying strong.

It really took a while for this book to get into the plot but now it's getting really interesting. I have found I am able to relate A LOT to the main character and so far I have noticed that everything in this book is bigger than it would be in reality which has caused me to assume that each dress code and unfair advantage towards the boys is more symbolic of gender inequality than literal gender inequality.

The plot is moving a little slowly but every chapter feels more empowering and this shy maim character is slowly coming out of her shell and showing the readers how brave an strong she can really be. I like the little hints throughout the beginning that show how fed up Vivian is with the way she is being treated at her school and it's super cool to watch her begin to feel like she is in control and can battle it.

This book is currently very frustrating. The way the characters are being treated is so unfair but I'm really looking forward to seeing Vivian, the main character, fight back.

The character development is going really well. Seeing how Starr changes to fit into her different environments makes her very relatable and an interesting character.

This book is very emotional and even though I cannot relate to a lot of the stituations that the main character Starr is put into, I still find I am able to relate with her as a person.

This book is very emotional and I love how it captures the inequality in our world so well.

I like how Angie Thomas gives each character their own voice and has quickly started showing their different characteristics and personalities.
