I don’t know how all the story lines fit together. Overall I like Shallan, and the Kaladin dude is complicated and has trauma which shapes him in such a real way so I like that. Im still confused on all the kinds of people that they mention and the hierarchy and the light vs dark eyed people. But overall enjoying book so far. A smidge slow but not too bad.

Very engaging right from the beginning. Only confusing bit is all the characters relation to Ern but I’m starting to get a grasp on them now. I read the train book first, so thought this one might be a bit of a slop at the beginning but it definitely is not. Page turning for sure
