Finally release day! So excited to be back on Dante’s adventures!

The more Roberts I read the more I love him as an author. Also wow completely unexpected to see Daisy show up here, especially as a seemingly integral plot point. Maybe I should have started with these instead of The Exorcist House series!

I need more Merle. Honestly I don’t like Daniel as a character and I really wish Merle and his journeys were the sole storyline in this book. Not bad just want more Merle who I find to be a vastly more interesting and likeable character than Daniel.

So good to be reading Baker again 😌

Actually I retract my previous statement. Or at least I want to expand on it. I DO hate this protagonist. Obviously that’s what the author wants. What I really hate is how the protagonist, and the book in general are written. I mean wow talk about lack of nuance, unimaginative, and in your face lack of respect for reading comprehension writing

I absolutely hate the protagonist of this book. I just want to be done with it at this point

God, this book. Not in a good way. I don’t care if it’s satire. That’s not an excuse for an annoying protagonist and a narrative that relies completely on the reader being confused on where the plot is going.

Honestly I just want to get this one out of the way before spooky season really starts. Will be interesting to see how it goes
