Loved diving into this study so far with my girliesss! Really have been diving into staying centered with Christ in the busyness of life

Praying to stay equipped to cast out ANY schemes of evil against my life! Also learning deeper about the armor of God and its importance!! Thank you Lord🙌

In on the section of the schemes of evil and what Satan does. I see how important it is to spot it within our lives so we can not let his schemes keep us bound and led astray from the goodness and blessings God has for us! It dives into it by stating the enemy destroys, distracts, deceives, disunifies, desensitizes, and deconstructs and a chapter on each of those. So far, grateful for this insight

Wanted to read this before my trip, I’m realizing how IMPORTANT it is to be educated and equipped spiritually to help pour the goodness of God into others!!!!

Done with Rahab and onto Ruth!

Rahab’s story was so encouraging!!!! And the first chapter of Ruth truly shows her love for her motherinlaw. Love how all the girls so far have been non-hebrew women who really at that time would not be accepted, but GOD USES THEM AND THEIR BOLD FAITH FOR JESUS’ LITERAL LINEAGE…WOMEN WHO WOULDVE BEEN OUTCASTED!! So beautiful and intentional ♥️

Almost done with Rahab’s story…. LOVEEE ugh i am so happy to wrap my head around the context of these stories i overlooked. She had faith in a God she was never taught about, literally risked her life for God’s people. God chose a canaanite woman who was held in prostitution, saved her, and then she would contribute to Jesus’ lineage! If thats not woman empowerment, idk what is lol thank you Lord

Finished the first story, i love it! When I read the story of Tamar in Genesis I overlooked it and did not understand its importance. Now I see how the Lord used her to begin the tribe of Judah and heir the lineage of Jesus, the Messiah. Her story is so powerful, how Christ used her brokenness was so encouraging. Bible studies at the end of it was a sweet surprise. Excited to read and learn about Bathsheba next

Has really helped wrapped my head around how I wish to approach marriage in modern times and God’s design for marriage☺️fr if its not from God i dont want itttt

Really love the setup of the book-the disproving of lies told in todays dating so commonly seen and argued for

Love so far. There’s a few parts where I was I like, that’s a bit of a secular take (definitely just my opinion based on where I am at personally in dating ig) , but otherwise I love how relatable it is! Very great

Storyline is very slow so far, but I just love the vibe of Wendell Berry’s books, idk man. Just brings tranquility, even though this one is starting out boring lol

Loving this so much, recommending it to ALL!! Covers so many topics that are hard to navigate, and love her perspective through it. Shares how she lost her husband in their 30s in 2020 and have 2 young boys. Through her grief and having to navigate life after tragedy, she shares how to relax with the Lord and let Him fully into all parts of your life through Proverbs 3:5-6. LOVE LOVE LOVE
