Currently attempting to read several different books...give up on the Reading Challenge until 2026! If y'all want to know what's in progress, let me know!

I technically have the fifth and final book in The Time Quintet...but it's the one that features the daughter of Meg (Murry) O'Keefe and Calvin O'Keefe, whom I know nothing about. There are earlier books that would allow me to learn more about her...but they're not part of the series. So, do I go ahead and read the fifth book now? Or do I order the other books and read them first?!

I've passed the halfway point...which means I'm either going to finish or lay it aside for months again. However, right now? I'm done reading for tonight - I've got the beginning of a headache and I want to do a few other things before I try to get some sleep.

I've restarted this since the last time I posted it - my goal is to finish it this time because I had to purchase a new copy for my local library. Why, you may be wondering? Simple - my dog Kiki had puppies and the puppies decided to chew on the bag that contained my library books. Sadly, this particular book was on the bottom and the library had just gotten it. I plan to write a review and post it on my website.

I set my 2025 Reading Challenge for only 24 books for two simple reasons. First is the fact that I'm not getting up to the library as often as I used to because of my allergies. Second is the fact that I'm not reading as often as I previously did.

Torn between absolutely loving this book and being disappointed that the Clock Island books aren't real. They'd give Harry Potter some serious competition!
