But I have been choosing bad books lately

Ok, so this is not... I do not like this so far. Unlike the first book Augustus and Kharon can't decide if their assholes or not (like for a chapter they'll be sweet and try and redeem themselves and then go back to being slightly abusive shits, like wha-). Also Patro's rly pissing me off(which I didn't expect cause I liked him in the first book) and Augustus is being a misogynistic arse (as usual 🙄)

Ok... This is a good story, I just don't think it's the best for me. Thinking of DNF'ing Idk, I just find alot of it kind of upsetting, but I don't know why...

I got this as a gift and it's been on my TBR for a while now. Hoping it's good 😅

I don't know... I was invested in their relationship for a couple of pages and then they started progressing so quickly. Like in the same 5 pages they had their 2nd kiss, started MAKING OUT, and then started having a couple fight. It felt so strange verses the slow pacing of the book. ALSO I still don't know the plot of the book AND they keep hinting at the Starmaker's past, but haven't elaborated on it...

I'm starting to get ever so slightly more invested, but it's still like a 2-3 stars so far...

I think this is getting better. I'm not fully invested, but it's intriguing. Although I will say the pacing is quite slow (which I don't hate), but if it wasn't for my goal of reading 100 pages each day I doubt I would get through it...

Interesting... I wouldn't say it has absolutely captivated my attention, but I need to get out of my everlasting reading slump soooo I'm going to get through it. I've set a goal of reading 100 pages a day so I gotta lock in tbh
