Jodie and Mark face the scarecrows as they come to life. Stanley helps them stop the spell by burning the magic book. The scarecrows fall still and stop walking. Everything goes back to normal, and the family feels safe again. But at the very end, Jodie sees one scarecrow move its hand showing the horror might not really be over.

The scarecrows start getting closer to the house. Jodie and Mark are scared and try to warn their grandparents. Stanley admits he can’t control the magic anymore. That night, the scarecrows surround them, and Jodie and Mark realize they have to stop the spell before it’s too late.

Jodie and Mark try to prove the scarecrows are moving. One night, they sneak outside and see them walking in the field! They run back to the house, but no one believes them. Stanley says he only wanted the scarecrows to scare away crows, not people. But the magic is out of control, and the scarecrows won’t stop moving.

Jodie and Mark notice more strange things on the farm. Stanley acts nervous and says the scarecrows are alive. One night, Jodie thinks she sees a scarecrow move. Later, she and Mark find out Stanley has a secret book of magic. They start to believe he might have used it to make the scarecrows walk at night.

Jodie and her brother Mark visit their grandparents’ farm for the summer. But things feel strange. Grandpa isn’t joking like he used to, and Grandma seems scared. The farmhand, Stanley, keeps talking about scarecrows walking at midnight. Jodie and Mark see lots of creepy scarecrows in the fields and start to think something weird is going on.
