The vocabulary and locations are sometimes quite foreign for me, so I don’t understand it as easily as I wish I did. Sometimes requires me to look up some names.

Overall, so far an interesting beginning. I’m very intrigued by author’s thoughts on “reformed pedophile”, so eager to know what’s next.

Also, since this is the first book on Rebus I’m reading, I wonder how much context I lack.

I really relate to the protagonist so far - his thoughts, his ambitions, his yearning for a trusted friend - and I do love him from what I heard.
