So far, Trevor's family was heavily religious with Trevor thinking, "My whole family is religious, but where my mother was Team Jesus all the way, my grandmother balanced her Christian faith with the traditional Xhosa beliefs she'd grown up with" (Noah 6). I'm wondering why almost everyone practically abandoned their old beliefs for the beliefs of their former colonizers.
