I mean this in the most Fuck JK Rowling way possible, but this book gives me reading HP for the first time vibes. The fantasy elements, the adventure, it’s so fun. The writing is lyrical and immersive. It doesn’t read as YA to me, although I haven’t read YA in years so so knows It doesn’t feel juvenile to me. I’m loving it.

This might be the first book to ever have me fully teared up and then actually laugh out loud in the same paragraph.
